Born in Chack Kanispora, Kashmir, Chef Parvinder Singh Bali
swapped dreams of neurosurgery for a culinary destiny. After
studying Mechanical Engineering, he found his passion in the
kitchen, graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management,
Kolkata (1993), and earning a gold medal at the Oberoi Center
of Learning and Development (1995). By 1998, he was Oberoi’s
youngest pastry chef. His global career includes launching ITC
Sonar, promoting Indian cuisine worldwide, and training at
Cordon Bleu, CIA, and with icons like Gordon Ramsay and
Thomas Keller. A polyglot and author of five culinary books, he
holds rare CIA Pro Certifications (Levels 2 & 3). In 2024, he
launched the School of European Pastry and Culinary Arts in
Gurugram. Recently honored with an honorary doctorate, Chef
Bali also cycles 40,000 km as a two-time Super Randonneur,
balancing his love for food and fitness

Basav has spent more than 20 years in leadership roles in real estate, hospitality, club development, brand consulting and quick service restaurants.
He has had the privilege of working with stellar brands, including Oberoi Realty Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd. The Oberoi Group, Barista Coffee, Taj Group, Chlorophyll,

With a multi-disciplinary career spanning, revenue, sales, marketing, business development and operations, he has an affinity for big ideas, creativity and accountability. He is able to quickly and aggressively, identify, develop and execute

Chef Ashish Bhasin is a celebrated culinary expert and hospitality leader with over 26 years of experience in progressive cuisine, financial management, and team building. A graduate of IHM Pusa, Delhi, and trained at the Taj Hotel Management Institute, he has worked with iconic brands like the Taj Group, Oberoi Hotels, and The Leela Group.
His career highlights include spearheading the launch of Threesixty° at The Oberoi, New Delhi, and leading operations at Leela Palace Chanakyapuri.
As the founder of CB Hospitality , Chef Bhasin provides consultancy for high-profile projects globally, including ventures in Dubai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Goa, and the USA. He has curated menus for prestigious events such as World Food India , Constitutional Day hosted by the President of India , and weddings at the Ambani residence.
A pioneer of the HomeChef movement, he is passionate about reviving India’s lost culinary heritage. His accolades include the Top 5 Chef Award , recognition as “The Legend of Indian Hospitality 2025,” and features in top chef lists by Vir Sanghvi and UpperCrust.
